ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you commented! Nursing/pumping is definitely one of those things you can't get until you've been there. It's great that you were able to go as long as you could but so nice to kiss that pump goodbye! I can definitely relate to the pain. I just finished weaning Clay this week and oh my goodness, it's not fun at all. This too shall pass, though.
ReplyDeleteFrom someone who knows, way to go on trying so hard to nurse and then carrying that pump everywhere. You did great! Don't feel guilty- it's NOT easy and you know you did your best. Now maybe you and Kevin can trade off those nighttime feedings and someone can actually get some sleep! Good luck!
