Oh, Baby Belly!
Okay, I don't think it's a secret to anyone anymore that I am in fact 'with child'. Just this week a few really bright girls at school said "Oh! Are you pregnant or something?" No, Captain Obvious. I've just been stealthily robbing equipment from the labs and carrying it out under my clothes for weeks. To these brilliant young ladies I am telling you now - please don't ever ask to see or hold my baby because I will be forced to slap you in the face and proudly sign my name to the handprint for all to see.

ReplyDeleteWow. I am glad you didn't delete this. It made me laugh. On the bright side of things, I could have said "Oh wow, you look really fat, but I know you're just pregnant." That would have been even better.

Oh Lillian. Why didn't we appropriately meet sooner? I can't believe I ever talked about slapping you if you held Avelyn. You can come hold my baby anytime.
